1/2 C Butter (1 Stick)
1 C mini marshmallows
1 C brown sugar
About 3 cups of fresh popped popcorn (fresh not only tastes better, but microwave popcorn is kept fresh in a bag by known carcinogens)
Pop corn and pour into a bowl.
Line a cookie sheet with tin foil.
Melt butter in a saucepan, add brown sugar and marshmallows and stir constantly until melted. I used a silicone spatula to stir to avoid a sticky mess.
Once mixed thoroughly, pour over popcorn and turn with spatula until coated. Pour onto cookie sheet and bake at 300F for about 20 minutes. Sprinkle with salt when you pull it from the oven. Let cool.
Optional ingredients: Nuts (toast at 325 to your liking before adding, trust me.) Raisins, Chocolate chips (mix in once halfway cooled to avoid a complete meltdown.)
Let cool thoroughly and break apart to serve. Don’t skip the salt, it makes a BIG difference!
